ICC: A Dynamic Corporate Identity System

Creating a Dialogue Between Companies and Consumers

Inspired by Martin Lindstrom's "Brand Sense," Jone Aleksiunaite developed ICC, a dynamic corporate identity system that allows consumers to influence a company's identity. This innovative approach aims to create higher emotional experiences through graphic design.

ICC is a unique corporate identity system that goes beyond the traditional static approach. It is a structure that facilitates a dialogue between companies and consumers, allowing the latter to actively participate in shaping the identity of the former. The concept draws inspiration from the Modern Art Museum, where visitors are encouraged to create personal symbols and movement images that become integral visual elements of the museum's identity.

The visual aspect of ICC is based on vector graphics and recorded digital video material, which capture the essence of human movement. This combination of dynamic elements and a stylistically unified effect sets ICC apart from other corporate identity systems.

One of the key strengths of ICC is its ability to adapt to different technological methods of collecting, processing, and using data. By allowing consumers to influence a company's identity, ICC opens up endless possibilities for incorporating consumer creativity into various digital and printing areas of a company's identity and advertising.

The development of ICC took place from February 11 to June 11 at the Vilnius Academy of Arts in Lithuania. Extensive research was conducted on identity, corporate identity, branding strategies, and innovative design strategies. The project also explored technological methods for collecting, processing, and using visual data.

Designing ICC presented several challenges. The first was to create a strategy that would yield visually attractive results from consumer creations. Additionally, the design team had to consider how consumers could consciously or unconsciously influence a corporate identity while maintaining clear identification. The result is a dynamic corporate identity system that successfully balances influence and visual dynamics.

ICC has received recognition for its innovative approach. In 2013, it was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design category. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that exhibit strong technical and creative skills, contribute to quality of life improvements, and make the world a better place.

ICC is not just a corporate identity system; it is a friendship manager between companies and clients. By embracing consumer creativity, ICC creates a unique and engaging experience that sets companies apart in today's competitive market.
